Many museums of the world keep art pieces made of metal that impress with the elegance and refinement of decorative ornament. This decorative strategy is called engraving. Engraving is done under the microscope on a prepared in advance metal surface. It is made by hand with steel cutters (gravers). Jewelry engraving significantly improves its artistic value and cost. That is tedious work. One job can take as long as several weeks.
