Hot enamel

Enamel has always been expensive and valued at the level of precious gems with which they could compete in color, transparency and sparkle. They were the legacy of mostly the highest strata of the society.

«Hot enamel» technique has been well known since the most ancient times. It is enough to remember well-known Byzantian, Limoges or Chinese enamels. We cannot but note the works of the Russian jeweler Carl Faberge. Glass directed to metal at the temperature of 700 degrees or higher is becoming an «eternal» material preserving the whole beauty of the primeval image; it doesn't get scratched or muddy. In our work we are using the best enamels from Limoges and Britain.
